Billsie’s “Auroa Borealis” on YouTube
Is "Aurora Borealis" really all that psycho of a song? I wrote it purely for the entertainment value and do think that it has a totally peppy bounce to it. Now it's on YouTube.

The pianist on this track, the Double Grammy Award Winner NICK ARIONDO, is gaining recognition as the premier accordionist virtuoso today. A visit to Nick Ariondo at his YouTube channel will allow you experience his phenomenal artistry. Don't miss his original adaptation of Rimsky-Korsacov's "Flight of the Bumble Bee" and all of Mr. Ariondo's great works. What an honor it is to have him playing the piano on "Aurora Borealis". I labor at the voice, ukulele and electric upright bass tracks and hope that you will enjoy what we've done!
The Best to You! Billsie

Billsie’s “Sister Cities - LIVE!” on YouTube
Hi late niters! We’ve just uploaded the video “Sister Cities - Live” to YouTube! Filmed at Mr. T's Bowl in the Highland Park District of Los Angeles, California. Hello Highland Park!!
Link here to “SISTER CITIES - LIVE!” on Youtube
"Sister Cities" is my own original instrumental composition for the electric ukulele and for bass. It’s loud and lovely thanks to a fantastic rhythm section powered by Hermann “MR. EXCITEMENT” Senac on the drums and Andy Jones on the bass. They keep it real. We believe this vid is SIIIIIIICK and would love for all of you to see it and to tell your friends see it for themselves.
Aloha!, Billsie

My nose is under the tent at N.E.L.A.
Such a jolt it was to get to play a short solo appearence playing electric ukulele and singing four of my songs at Cafe N.E.L.A. last night and I owe the chance to do it to my friend;, the great drummist, Hermann Senac. I enjoyed the experience lots and love the kind of club N.E.L.A. is. All kinds of acts seem to have a place to do their thing, The comfortable atmosphere and decidedly raucous music there rivels the effects of an extended sensory conciousness raising session.

Billsie is writing new music!
I’ ve picked up my unfinished buisiness of songwriting lately. This is really where at. It’s a dogged and joyous struggle from the first smirk of an vision through the final verse and final revisions of the instrumental arrangements.

Billsie performing without saftey net.
It comes as a surprise to me too but I like to perform solo sometimes. Just me singing and playing the ukulele live and wthout the the support of a drummer and bassist as I always have relied on. It’s feels as if being observed with a magnifying glass. You peform without a rhythm section pumping every seat in a place with vibrations other than those of only a good loud microphone.
So I’ve been going to open mics and trying myself on for size
solo! The experience of open mic solo is a jolt coming from playing with the great instrumentalists that I perform with doing my live shows. The exposure that you feel solo is an exillaration and can cause you to flip into unexpected modes of coping with an audience and this is just where the fun begins!
After I tighten down the bolts, doing some more solo open mics, I might book a couple of full solo sets at a club to stretch out further in a solo bit. Meanwhile, as always, I’ll be leaning heavy against the bass and drums and loving it!

Expensive, Classic microphone destroyed
As if having to buy a great vocal microphone wasn’t painful enough how about having your’s suddenly taken from you? And how about if you caused the loss of your microphone yourself?
I did it. I was doing a vocal recording session with my fantastic AKG 414 condenssor mic which was hanging upside down from it’s boomstand when the recording mishap occurred. I viewed this from across the room. The mic, hanging upside downon the boomstand, began to descend because I hadn’t tightened the swivel joint enough. I immediatly ran toward the gracefully lowering mic but didn’t get to it in time to save it from gently though fully dunking itself into a cup of instant coffee. I, myself, had placed the coffee onto a table right exactly where the microphone slowly swang down into it. The coffee also had non-dairy creamer in it!

Hermann is coming!
Hear the future. The future! THE FUTURE! The ledgendary Mr. EXCITEMENT brings nothing less than NiteTime in his pocket. HERMANN SENAC is coming! This is gonna be MONSTROUS.
A legend of entertainment and musicianship throughout all Southern California, Hollywood and way far and beyond, Hermann “Mr. Excitement” Senac helped to create and propel the SoCal punk movement as a drummer in partnership with key, influencial and defining figures. But this is just for starters.
The same top presonality and up-the-ante insistence as a disciplined drummer have made him in a figure of near worship to countless social climbers, legitimate partiers and accomplished musicians of all stripes..
I’m shark bit excited to be able to soon start premiering selected songs from the upcoming album of my all original songs for the electric ukulele featuring Hermann on drums throughout.
A video from this album can soon be viewed here at Billsie.com.
Your’s Truely, Billsie
